Xian is one of the oldest cities in China, most famous for its remarkable Terracotta Warriors. We flew in from Hong Kong specifically to visit the site, booking only two nights. I wish we had stayed a little longer as the area around the city wall is very interesting and I would have liked to explore it more.

Right in the middle of the well known bustling tourist shopping district along Nathan Road is Kowloon Park. Compared to the busy, crowded, noisy traffic and crowds, Kowloon Park is a peaceful place of tranquility, set on 33 acres of tree lined walks, ponds and bird exhibits.
We spent a few days in Shanghai at the end of our tour through Vietnam and China, visiting Yuyuan Garden and the Bund.
